Research Paper Article #3 summary

This article is very good because it describes the finding of Dr. Zwiebel and his team in the fight against Malaria ridden Mosquitoes, turning their great sense of smell in do a weapon against them. This article is mostly logos and ethos with little to no pathos.

Research Paper Article #1 summary

This article tells the complete history of malaria and how it continuously evolves. People such as Fred Soper have battled and succeeded at destroying malaria. It's thanks to him that malaria was eradicated in the United States, as well as the Caribbean, Taiwan, etc. Unfortunately, the way he went about it caused great harm to the environment, so it was outlawed. The malaria virus is also constantly evolving, so we need to find a way to stop it quick.

Ask an expert

I have a school report where I need to ask an expert five questions about the topic I chose which was how malaria being spread by mosquitoes.

1. Would exterminating all of the mosquitoes carrying the malaria parasyte impact the environment whatsoever?

2. Why is it more prevalent in children?

3. Why is the issue of malaria not regarded as that large of an issue by the general populace?

4. Where is the most common place on the human body that malaria parasites infect?

5. Is malaria hereditary between mother and child?

How can we effectively and efficiently kill mosquitoes carrying the malaria parasyte

What are the best ways to kill mosquitoes? Mosquitoes are very annoying and can also carry diseases. One such disease being malaria, a disease that kills over a million people a year, and a majority of its victims are children under five years of age. If we could kill mosquitoes carrying the disease we would halt the main way malaria is carried, significantly decreasing the amount of deaths. I just watched a fascinating video describing the different ways we can kill mosquitoes that are very effective.  http://www.ted.com/talks/bart_knols_cheese_dogs_and_pills_to_end_malaria

TED talk: Do schools kill creativity?

I just watched a Ted talk on if schools kill creativity. The speaker, Ken Robinson, talked about how all education systems in the world are alike. In every educational school, math and science are pushed while creative courses are discouraged and stigmatized. He suggested that at a young age we push students to take the classes they are interested in not just educational ones.

Introduction

Hello, my name is Noah Strickland. I thought I would let you know a little bit about me.

One thing you should know about me is that I have a really big family. In just my immediate family I have my Mom, three sisters and one brother. Even though all of my sisters and my brother are half-siblings I treat them no differently than if they were my full-siblings. I am the youngest of my sibling and am regarded as the “Baby”, even though my height exceeds all of theirs. My father's side of my family is much larger than my mothers, but they are both very large.

I am in the Future Business Leaders of America (Fbla) club. My friend, Luke persuaded me to join the club along with him. I was hesitant at first, but I joined and it turned out to be quite enjoyable. I do not aspire to go into the field of business. The reason I joined the club was because being in the club looks good to colleges.

I go to Fit4life to workout. The Fit4life gym is located behind Zaxby's. I go every day right after school ends unless I have a Fbla meeting. I really enjoy working out; it helps me lose weight and is good for relieving stress.

Well, that's about all you really need to know about me.
