soon

Noah has continued to do SO WELL at church and at the Y childcare (or "playcare" as they call it). Last week Jamie dropped Noah off at playcare at the Y and he walked in, didn't cry and was happy to play as Jamie left to work out! Success! Victory! In the past his usual routine was to flip out for about a minute or less and then he would be fine until we came back. He would even play independently (as opposed to clinging onto one of the helpers or teachers) and when I saw this happening I KNEW that he was really progressing!
It's such a relief to see this and it really takes a load off of my mind and heart as well as making going to the gym to work out a WHOLE lot easier.
The one thing he does repeat quite often throughout the day is, "Mama, Daddy...SOON." as in, Mommy and Daddy are going to come back soon. It's pretty cute and I always say, "Yes. That's right. Mommy and Daddy ALWAYS come back for you soon." I'm not sure who first told him this or how it finally sunk in, but he got the concept and it's good to know (for both of us) that he knows we'll always come back for him.
