So after the first night away last week (we were up north for some training with C4C) Noah's pre-nap and pre-bedtime screaming stopped completely. He did some half-hearted screaming for less than a couple minutes the first night and then nothing. No middle of the night wake ups - nothing! And since we've been home he has continued to go down for naps and bed without screaming at all! (Although today's nap was ... almost non-existent.)
So I'm happy that phase is over for now. :)
The screaming DOES continue throughout the day, though and I have come close many times to completely losing it on him. We've tried many forms of discipline and strategies for him to stop but he still continues. I pray it's a phase he will soon grow out of.
He's also really taken to other kids - especially the ones that were at the training. It was really cute. Some kids specifically took to him like Ben and that was really sweet to see. They liked to give each other lots of hugs (Ben is a year older than Noah) and Ben occasionally (gently) wrestled Noah to the ground which was funny and Noah tolerated it for a couple minutes and then he had had enough. :)
